Club Development Planning 2020-2030
In 2020 we embarked on a development planning process to help us improve our club. Club development is all about looking at our Club and asking ourselves ‘Could we do better?’, ‘What should we do differently?’ ‘What are the Club’s priorities?’, while aiming to preserve the best of what we do now while making the club sustainable for the future. Making a commitment to improve what we do now can make a massive difference to life at the club. It is guided by the RYA Scotland Club Development Framework.
The club development group currently includes James Dargie, Richard Jenner, Chris Taylor, Marisa Astill-brown, Sandra Hogg and Ollie Bull.

Where are we now?
In early 2021 we kicked of the process by looking at where we are now as a club. We did this by gathering information on the club activities, facilities and membership in a Wants and Needs document and by carrying out both a member and external survey.
