Chanonry Sailing Club has changed its legal form from a voluntary association to a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO), as agreed at a Special General Meeting on 28 May 2019. Our SCIO application to the Office of the Charity Regulator was approved on 16 September 2019, with our charity number allocated as SC049615.
We reached the end of the transition phase involving the legal transfer of assets (deeds, leases, accounts, property etc) to the SCIO in early 2022.
