Child Involvement
All children under the age of 16 (unless enrolled in a formal training course) must be under the direct supervision of a parent, guardian, or a responsible adult (aged 18 or over, acting in loco parentis). The supervising adult may be onshore or on the water.
Participants aged 16-17 may take part without direct adult supervision, but only with the explicit consent of their parent or guardian.
Parents must not assume that event organizers are responsible for unaccompanied children. It is essential that all parents ensure appropriate supervision arrangements are in place. Your cooperation in maintaining a safe environment for all young participants is greatly appreciated.

CHANGING ROOM GUIDANCE
Chanonry Sailing Club runs a mixture of activities through out the year for people of a wide range of ages. The following guidance on use of changing rooms is to help ensure our young people and adults have a safe and enjoyable experience at the club.
- Single sex/gender changing facilities are provided at the club. Adults and children should only change in the changing room of their own gender.
- Both adults and children should be able to shower and dress in reasonable privacy.
- It is preferable for adults to stay away from the changing rooms while in use by children. If this is unavoidable, we recommend that adults avoid being alone in a changing room with children. If in doubt, knock on the door and ask if there are children using the changing room.
- When children are changing, the accessible toilet is still available for use.
