2026 Priority Project: Old Moorings Cleared!
One of our major goals for 2026 is officially complete. Clearing the three lines of old moorings and ground anchors was a daunting, expensive task that required dipping into our reserve funds, but David Finlayson's successful negotiation allowed us to hire the workboat Harris from the Port of Ardersier to complete it.
Over two incredibly long, intense days of work, the team successfully lifted all the old ground tackle. The metal was taken back to Ardersier, skipped, and sold for scrap to help offset the project costs.

- Clear Waters: At least two visiting cruising yachts have already used the newly cleared anchorage.
- Clearer Racing: Navigating and identifying our race marks just got a whole lot easier!
Slipway
We are pleased to share the latest progress on our slipway improvement project. Thank you to Jeremy Astill-Brown for getting the project to this stage and also to the North Highland Initiative for their generous grant of £2000. The Condition report and Proposal plan are available to download below. The Board would like to hear comments from the membership so please send any to the Secretary by email to [email protected].
