SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PAYMENTSenior Citizens – the club treasurer will happily accept full fees from any Senior Citizen who feels able to contribute to the club in that way.
New members joining from 1 September onwards will pay a much reduced subscription rate of 30% of the full subs rounded up to the nearest whole pound in the year they join. Please contact the Membership Secretary for details at membership@chanonry.org.uk. Renewal – For all members, renewal payments are due before 1 March. It would be very helpful if those not intending to renew were to let the membership secretary know via membership@chanonry.org.uk |
Insurance IndemnityApplicants for membership are required to sign an insurance indemnity as laid out below. The Club regards this matter as extremely important and asks members to ensure that they are complying with the undertaking given.
"I certify that I shall maintain while a member of Chanonry Sailing Club, insurance cover for any boat or mooring owned or part-owned by me including third party and public liability indemnity for at least £2,000,000 This undertaking and indemnity shall remain in force until withdrawn by me in writing to the Honorary Secretary, Chanonry Sailing Club." |
INSTRUCTIONS
Payment of fees by Paypal is preferred although payment by cheque will be accepted at the address on the contact page.
Choose the Membership item that relates to your requirements and click "Add to Cart". When you have selected all your items please "Checkout" above. You have full control over what you wish to pay for and can empty the cart by marking items for removal.
Please enter the name(s) for whom membership fees are being paid as you progress through the payment process, so that we can reconcile payments and members.
NOTE:
A few people have experienced a problem using the payment process whereby the step eliciting personal details from you will keep reverting to a blank form. Sometimes filling it in repeatedly will eventually be accepted and payment can finally be confirmed. The problem exhibits itself when using the Safari browser on Apple (and Windows?) computers but it is unknown whether this is always the case. The solution is to try a different browser. If you have a problem or find a solution please give feedback to webmaster@chanonry.org.uk.
Experience is that the Chrome browser works reliably - other browsers are available!. Browsers based on Chrome such as Brave and Vivaldi are also reliable. You can search the internet for downloads or go to the following links.
