SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PAYMENT

Senior Membership rates apply when a member is of State Pension age on 1 January of the membership year. For couples the rate applies when the older of the couple is of State Pension age. Any Senior member who feels able to contribute to the club by paying the full ordinary subscription might wish to consider splitting this into the senior subscription plus an added donation on which it is hoped the club will be able to claim Gift Aid. Donations can be made by Paypal (see www.chanonry.org.uk/your-paypal.html) or by cheque made out to the Club.

New members joining from 1 September onward will pay a much reduced subscription rate of 30% of the full subs rounded up to the nearest whole pound in the year they join. Please contact the Membership Secretary for details at membership@chanonry.org.uk.

Renewal –  For all members, renewal payments are due before 1 March. It would be very helpful if those not intending to renew were to let the membership secretary know via  membership@chanonry.org.uk

Insurance Indemnity

The Club regards insurance as extremely important protecting matter and expects that members will comply with the following insurance indemnity undertaking.

"I certify that I shall maintain while a member of Chanonry Sailing Club, insurance cover for any boat or mooring owned or part-owned by me including third party and public liability indemnity for at least £2,000,000
This undertaking and indemnity shall remain in force until withdrawn by me in writing to the Honorary Secretary, Chanonry Sailing Club."

INSTRUCTIONS

Payment of fees by Paypal is preferred although payment by cheque will be accepted at the address on the contact page.
Choose the Membership item that relates to your requirements and click "Add to Cart". When you have selected all your items please "Checkout" above. You have full control over what you wish to pay for and can empty the cart by marking items for removal.

Please enter the name(s) for whom membership fees are being paid as you progress through the payment process, so that we can reconcile payments and members.

NOTE:

A few people have experienced a problem using the payment process whereby the step eliciting personal details from you will keep reverting to a blank form. Sometimes filling it in repeatedly will eventually be accepted and payment can finally be confirmed. The problem exhibits itself when using the Safari browser on Apple (and Windows?) computers but it is unknown whether this is always the case. The solution is to try a different browser. If you have a problem or find a solution please give feedback to webmaster@chanonry.org.uk.

Experience is that the Chrome browser works reliably - other browsers are available! Browsers based on Chrome such as Brave, Vivaldi and the latest Edge are also reliable. You can search the internet for downloads or go to the following links.
   Chrome: https://www.google.com/chrome/
   Brave:    brave.com/download/
   Vivaldi:   vivaldi.com/download/
   Edge:     microsoft.com/en-us/edge

For those joining the Club in the period September to December - click here.
(this option is only active while it applies)
Please note the strict requirements for direct adult supervision of children detailed on the Child Involvement page at http://www.chanonry.org.uk/child-involvement.html.
