Open Water Swim, 15 August 2026

Join fellow swimmers in an organised social sea swim in Fortrose bay. There will be options to swim 200m, 500m or 1000m. Please note that this is not a race. The achievement is in completing either course.


Requirements:
  • You should be confident to swim in the sea for 20-30 minutues and between 200m and 1000m, depending on the course you choose.
  • You must be over 16 years of age
  • You must use a high visibility tow float with waist belt
  • Numbered swim hats must be worn, and will be provided on the day
  • You must enter and pay the event fee of £5, and accept the terms and conditions​
