Welcome to Chanonry Sailing Club
Where Water Adventures Begin!

Nestled in the stunning Moray Firth, between Avoch and Rosemarkie on the beautiful Black Isle, we’re a friendly, inclusive club passionate about all things water sports. Whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned racer, there’s something for everyone here!

From dinghy racing and coastal cruising to coastal rowing and wild swimming, we offer a variety of ways to get out on the water. As an RYA Recognised Training Centre, our experienced instructors and coaches ensure you’re in safe hands, with fully assessed activities and safety boat support for dinghy sailing.

More than just a club, we’re a community run by our members, for our members. Discover your next adventure with us?

We’re thrilled to share that we’ve added two brand-new RS Quests to our fleet, replacing our pair of Wanderers! These fantastic boats are a great addition, perfect for both training and club activities, helping us offer even more opportunities to get out on the water. Come and give them a try!

A huge thank you to The Gordon and Ena Baxter Foundation, Highland Council, and our generous members for their support in making this possible.
