Welcome to Chanonry Sailing Club. We are a fun, friendly, welcoming club offering a great range of water sports opportunities for all ages, from absolute beginners to seasoned racers. We’re based in the idyllic Moray Firth in Fortrose between Avoch and Rosemarkie on the Black Isle, Scotland.

We offer a wide range of sailing activities from dinghy racing to coastal cruising, as well as coastal rowing, stand up paddle boarding and swimming. We are an RYA Recognised Training Centre and have a great team of qualified instructors and coaches. All our activities are safety assessed and dinghy sailing is supported with cover from our safety boats.

We are proud to be a club run for our members by our members and invite you to Discover Your Next Adventure with us.

Exciting News…The Club has agreed to upgrade some of our club dinghies this year, replacing our two Wanderers, with two RS Quests.
We’re on a fund-raising mission to support the purchase of the new boats and we need your help. We are asking for donations, via the website, or through QR codes on display at the Club.
